![]() ![]() ![]() Really don't want to download the manual page by page or have to "log in" every time I have a question. I always grab the pdf manual with any software purchase and keep it with the installation program "just in case". Had to comment that I too am disappointed in a lack of an offline manual. ![]() Written first before putting up up for site access?īy Diatomacious - 12 October 2021 11:49 PM What about at the document source? Meaning Macrium could do this from the page/s source, which surely would have been Unless I missed such an option, it only works on a single page at a time basis. Surely sending the on-line manual to a PDF print driver can be done from the on-line manual documentation? Please let me know when this becomes available. I would also like a pdf version of Macrium Reflect v8. But of course, my bad for assuming anything - always a "no-no". When I upgraded from v7 to v8 I had no idea the v8 User Guide was not available - I simply assumed it was. Reflect V7 will be supported until V8 has been on the market for a year, so you weren't forced to upgrade But if not having a complete User Guide in PDF format was an issue for you, then you could of course have waited to become a paying V8 customer (or a V8 user, if you're a subscriber) until that circumstance had changed. I'm also a paying Macrium customer, and I for one appreciate all the work that has gone into developing and bringing to market the latest version.Īt least for me, the various KB articles about the new functionality of Reflect V8, all linked from this page, cover what I need to know about changes in V8. If you roll back to v7 for the time being, you'll have the full instruction manual at your fingertips, and you'll be ready to go back to v8 as soon as the equivalent manual appears. Most users are quite happy to use the new version ahead of the definitive user guide appearing, and those of us who prefer to wait until more extensive instructions are available can simply hold back on upgrading. Macrium could have delayed the release of v8 until they had the full user guide available, but that would have resulted in further delay all round. But in the world we're living in right now, in the middle of a pandemic, it was never going to happen. Seems to me it would make more sense to always include a new complete User Guide with the release of a new product version instead of an afterthought done "when we get some free time".Īs a paying customer, not happy about this. ![]()
